Meet Isaias Arita

Isaias Arita, owner of Ramo Concrete, is living the American dream. Isaias was born and raised in Copan Ruinas, Honduras, the site of the most important archaeological ruins of the Maya civilization. After school, Isaias worked a variety of jobs, including in restaurants, on a coffee farm, as a politician involved in electricity and water projects, and finally in the building of concrete bridges. It was this exposure to concrete that set him on the path that led to his passion for concrete.

In 2001, Isaias legally migrated to the USA and settled in San Antonio. He worked for a number of years for other concrete companies, then went out on his own and started Ramo Concrete. Isaias says it makes him happy to help customers by doing a good job and thereby gaining their trust.

Isaias is married to the love of his life, Wendy Carolina, and they have five wonderful young children: Ashlyn (15), Maria (14), Peter (9), Charles (8), and Anne (4). He is teaching all of his kids the concrete industry and hopes that someday they will take over the company.
